Keith D. Rolfe

Keith D. Rolfe, 77, of Rotterdam went home to the Lord on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the Schenectady Center. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Louis and Ethel (Dearstine) Rolfe.

He served his country in the Navy from 1965-67. Keith was a graduate of the College of St. Rose and the Junior College of Albany.

For 26 years, Keith was employed as a security guard for the Northeastern Industrial Park in Rotterdam.

Keith was past president of the Schenectady Lions Club 1982-83. He also volunteered regularly at the Whitney Book Corner. Keith was also a member of the Rotterdam United Methodist Church.

He will always be remembered as being a kind and loving person who looked out for everybody. Keith in his spare time always enjoyed reading a good book.

Keith is survived by his loving wife Claudia Van Patten Rolfe whom he married May 5, 2001, his step son Frank R. Van Patten Jr. (Victoria Nolan) of Niskayuna, his step daughter Tammy L. Van Patten of Ballston Spa, three sisters Phyllis Christian of Niskayuna, Lois Phillips (Joseph) of Queensbury and Linda Rolfe of Colonie as well as one niece, one nephew and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Keith will be Monday July 11, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be held prior from 12 to 2 p.m.

Interment will be in Park View Cemetery in Schenectady.
