I had the pleasure to appear before Judge Ferradino many times as a trial lawyer in the Capital District. He was always personable and genuinely interested in the lawyers and the case before him. He treated everyone professionally and welcomed lawyers and litigants to his courtroom.
I was fortunate to try a products liability case before him in 1999 and recall how well he handled the legal issues, treated the lawyers, jurors, witnesses and court personnel.
He was among my most favorite judges--and such an easy man to like--a wonderful human being.
I will miss him.

I worked for and with Judge Ferradino in Saratoga County Family Court quite awhile ago. He was a great Judge with an awesome sense of humor. Although I haven’t seen him in years I’m sure he made every day he had count. RIP Judge.

One of my first memories of Mr Ferradino, was when I played on St.Mary’s CYO basketball team as a 7th grader. He was the head coach. We had a very talented team that year. I believe that we went 23-2. I still remember trying out for the team and being the last one to be cut. He saw that I was upset and took it upon himself to add me to the squad as the 13th player. I did not play much that year, but learned a lot by being part of this team. Mr Ferradino had an great smile and infectious laugh. You could tell by the way that he interacted with others how genuine and sincere of a person he was. He will be sorely missed. Tony and Stephanie, I will keep your father and you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My baby brother Steve was the best brother ever! We remained close although we have lived far apart for most of our adult years. The memory of him will be a blessing for me for the rest of my life! I adored him, was proud of him and will love him forever! RIP Steve!❤

Our condolences to Judy and Steve’s family. We were so saddened to hear of Steve’s passing. His company at the many luncheons we shared with he and Harry were so filled with laughter and talk of family. Both welcomed us as newcomers and treated us as natives. We are forever grateful. We mourn his passing and celebrate his crossing over home with the rest of the Saints into heaven.

To Pat, Steph and the family and friends of Steve Ferradino,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of a most endearing individual who brightened every event of the Saratoga County Bar Association that I attended. Steve was the quintessential "hale fellow well met." He was warm, he exuded empathy for others, and his sense of humor enlivened every conversation. As a jurist, he exercised an insightful pragmatism that acknowledged the rightful interests of the parties appearing before him and sought to address those interests in conformance with the principles of fairness and justice. In short, Steve was a good judge, but an even better man.
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.

My sincere condolences to Steve's family. Steve and I graduated from Ballston High in 1958. I went into the Navy and Steve went on to college and became a lawyer. Him and I were always at the keg parties in the Guyser Park along with many other kids in our class.
How the time flies. I some times drive thru the park thinking of the past remembering the old days.
RIP Steve.
