Veronica Jablonski Obituary

Veronica Jean Jablonski RotterdamVeronica Jean Jablonski, 94, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Bernice Morawski. Veronica (Ronnie) was a self-employed beautician for many years in Cobleskill and Schenectady, NY and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace. One of Veroncia's greatest joys was the pleasure of living on the farm her entire life. She was predeceased by her husband, George L. Jablonski; sister, Jennie Nowak; and brothers, Harry, Benjamin, and Edmund Morawski. Veronica is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Gerald ) Carvin of Middleburgh, and Roberta (Shawn) Reed of Saratoga Springs; her sister, Zita Leszczynski; grandchildren, Nicholas Carvin and Meredith Reed; and several nieces and nephews. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace on Princetown Road in Rotterdam. Interment will follow in Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery. Those who wish to remember Veronica in a special way may make a contribution to: The Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
