Wayne A. Mattison

Wayne A. Mattison, 62, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, following a short illness. He was born in Glens Falls, NY and was the son of the late Alfred and Frances Barlow Mattison. Mr. Mattison was employed by the Robert Van Patten Construction Co. for 38 years, before becoming disabled. Mr. Mattison was the devoted and loving husband of Susan A. Ward Mattison for 33 years. Survivors include his devoted sons, Ryan Mattison of Atlanta, GA and Wayne and Guy Mattison, both of Saratoga Springs and the late Randy Mattison. Brother of Everett (Jane) of Granville, Harold and Terry (Brenda) of Gansevoort, Gale (Wayne) Campney of Queensbury, Barbara (Jim) Freemire of Gansevoort, Judy (Vern) McCormick of Fort Edward, Peggy Mattison of Schuylerville, Robin (Richard) Streicher of Gansevoort and Shiela (Cliff) Millis of Greenfield Center. Also survived by grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or to the Jonesville Volunteer Fire Department, 953 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
