Adam Partlow Obituary

Adam James Partlow of Algonquin Memorial visitation for Adam James Partlow, 24, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Road, Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Cremation will be private. Born Dec. 28, 1982, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, in Algonquin. Adam worked at Streamwood Behavioral Health Systems as a mental health counselor. He has affected the lives of many. He has been a loyal friend, in return was loved by countless others. His character was admirable. He was determined and courageous. He fought a long and difficult battle with honor, dignity and respect. To his mom, dad, brother and sister, he is their hero. There is no way to accurately express the unconditional love he shared with his soulmate, Melissa. She was "the extra juice (and) that's what it's all about." Survivors include his soulmate, Melissa Bavester; his parents, Liz and Jim Partlow; brother, Kevin Partlow; sister, Kim (Kevin) Nygaard; niece and nephew, Emily and Nick Nygaard; and grandparents, Jackie and Don Becker. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cancer Treatment Center of America, 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL 60099. For information, 847-458-1700 or www.Willowfh.com. To Adam: "Mom and Dad love you always and forever. They would do anything for you, whatever, whenever, wherever."

Dear Liz, Jim and family:
It's been 4 years since we moved from across the street but I remember Adam like it was yesterday. His smile and wave as his whizzed up and down Teri Lane in his cute little red car. His laughter as he returned our dog home after she dashed across the street (again) to greet him. My thoughts and prayers are with you as Adam, our good neighbor, has found his peaceful new home. God bless.
