DAVID THOMAS Obituary

David Thomas, 76, passed away on June 29th, 2021. He died in the company of his wife and son. David was the beloved husband of Karen. Together they shared 53 years of marriage filled with much joy, laughter, discovery, celebration and, occasionally, sadness. He was a dedicated father to his son, Rich (together with wife, Victoria) and daughter, Donna, who was taken from us too soon. More than just a father, David was a coach, teacher, mentor, role model, unwavering supporter and friend to Rich. David was also a grandfather to his twin grandsons, Alexander and Christopher. Even in the final days of his life, one of his favorite activities was watching videos of the twins as they played and danced. He was a devoted brother to his younger sister, Julie. He and his sister were opposites in almost every way, except in how they loved each other. Beyond his family, he was a coach, businessman, advisor, organizer and friend to so many. He touched countless lives across the years - he will be greatly missed. David will be laid to rest at Wheaton Cemetery on July 6th, beside his parents, sister and daughter.
