ERNA DANILOVICH

Erna Danilovich was born on October 23, 1923 in Lodz, Poland. She died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in Barrington. Erna worked as an Assembly Line Worker for Victor Adding Machine, in Chicago and Shure Bros. in Skokie. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Chicago. She was an avid gardener. Erna loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all. Erna is survived by her sons Andrija (Susan) Danilovich, and George (Alice) Danilovich; grandchildren, Michael (Margaret) Danilovich, Nadia Danilovich, Nina Danilovich, and Nicholas Danilovich. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 53 years, Radovan Danilovich; grandson, Scott Danilovich; sister, Charlotte Ruckheim; brothers, Arthur Mergenthaler and Richard Mergenthaler; and her parents, Rudolf Mergenthaler and Else (Milnikel) Mergenthaler. Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. Also visitation from 9:00 am, Friday, October 18, 2013 at the funeral home until the 10:00am Funeral Service. Interment will be at Montrose Cemetery in Chicago.
