Dan, I cannot believe how the years have gone by. Think about you often and pray for you. There is always an emptiness in your heart. Ray and I lost our youngest in 2008 at the age of 31. I think about Shannon all
the time and talk to her daily. The death of a child is the most heartbreaking experience one can imagine.
Stay strong, say a prayer for me. Love, Mary Lee Hane

I know that much time has passed, however, Kevin will never be forgotten. I think it is important to point out that what is important in life is touching those around you and brightening the days of others, and it is safe to say that Kevin definately achieved this. Kevin's positive impact on the people he knew is very admirable, and his amazing personality continues to make people smile as they remember what a great kid he was. He fulfilled his purpose above and beyond.
To the Conway family:
You are wonderful people. Continue staying strong and fighting through together. You are still in my prayers and I admire your strength.

the dash between those years...
Though I live many miles from my Lines School family, I must say that I am saddened to have learned about Kevin. I know I was a small part of Kevin's dash, with me are his smiles and gentle demeanor from his elementary school years.
the dash represents all the time that he spent alive on earth however short, and now only those who loved him know what that little line is worth...
My deepest sympathy to you Pat, Dan, Sean, Megan and Jack.

I know its been about 3 months, and i've read about every comment on this Guest book, but i never knew what to say, or how to say it.
I knew Kevin, i hung out with him over the summer, and spend some really amazing nights with him. I'm really going to miss Kevin's smile, kevin's laughter, sense of humor, and pretty much every little thing that reminded me of him. He's changed everyones lives all over. I'm really sorry, and i know Kevin's watching over all of us, smiling upon us and being all of our guardian angel.
we all miss him.
My Prayers are with you.

I know that nobody can truly understand the pain that you are experiencing over the loss of your son Kevin...I find it difficult to even begin to imagine as a mother of a thirteen year old boy, I don't think one can comprehend this sort of tragedy until it is truly experienced and undoubtedly nobody should have to. I pray that you realize how many people are touched by your loss and I pray that you realize how many people care. I realize there is not much that these things can do to ease your grief but I hope that it provides a glimmer of hope regarding the good that remains in humans. Kevin has touched the lives of so many and will never be forgotten- as you move through the grieving process may the memories that make your heart ache at this moment bring a smile to your face.
A friend who loves him!!

I never knew your son but his loss has effected many people. Maybe we crossed paths along his life time as passing strangers. I hope someday you get another chance with Kevin to meet him again and hold him one more time. Tell him you love him. Because I can only hope that I may meet those who I have loved and tell them when I didn't get the chance how much I love them. I don't know you or your son but I am so very sorry for your loss of your Kevin. Don't give up don't ever give up!

Dear Conway Family -
As a mother of four, who also lost a child my heart breaks for your family and I share in your pain and sadness. I know that no words can make it better, nothing can change what has happened, but I pray that you have faith and know that in time you will be able to deal with the overwhelming feelings you are experiencing. I did not know your son, but from what I've heard he was loved by many. We are praying for you and hope you find the strength to get through this. God bless your family.

Dear Conway Family-
While I do not personally know your son/family, I share in the sadness of a young life taken too soon. May God's love and grace embrace you. May He give you the strength to look beyond your sadness to celebrate such a wonderful young man. In your time of reflection let it be filled of all the memories that bring you to laugh and smile. While Kevin is no longer here in body, he is in spirit. He will remain in your heart and fond memories until such time as you meet again. Until then, may your faith give you peace in knowing that he has reached the ultimate destination. My prayers are with you.

Even if we do imagine it could happen to us...when it does...it's unbearable. It's like a terrible nightmare that you want to wake up from but unfortunately you can't.
The worst is when you go to sleep and have a dream of how things used to be. The happy days. But waking up is the nightmare this time.
Dr. Conway, you have touched so many lives. So many people in this community who haven't even met your family is saddened by this news.
To all of Kevin's family, friends, schoolmates, co-workers, I know that you will get through this. Time does help, it doesn't necessarily heal. Just remember that Kevin is probably looking down right now and is hurt to see all of you so sad. Keep this in mind in order to help you move on.
Kevin wants to see you continuing to laugh and smile. Smile for him.

To the Conway family,
I am soo sorry for your loss. Even though the funeral and the wake are over its still hard to believe it happened. I cry everyday but it will get better very very slowly. I walk down the halls at school and I feel like I have a hole in my heart because hes gone. He was a very fun person to be with. When you were down he always had a way to make you smile. He was a really good friend and will be in my heart forever!!! I miss you Kevin!!!

To the Family,
Since I heard about your loss, I have been praying for all of you to find comfort and peace from your wonderful family and friends. I did not know Kevin, but can feel the love that goes out to him and to all of you. We live in a wonderful community where everyone has been grieving with you. I have lost two children myself and there is nothing I can say to make you feel better now. But, peace will come eventually and I will continue to pray for all of you. Embrace your family and friends and lean on all of them. People do not know what to say, but please do not take silence as a sign of not caring. You should feel in your hearts the love that people have for you. Our prayers are with you and Kevin and he is forever in your hearts.
