BATAVIA - Stella Patricia Korman, 90, of the Holmstad Retirement Community in Batavia, formerly of Medinah and St. Charles, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Michealsen Health Center. She was born February 16, 1923 in Chicago, the daughter of Joseph and Lucille (nee Bush) Galuszka. She was united in marriage to Henry P. Korman on October 4, 1947 at St. Hedwigs in Chicago, IL. She was a member of Valley Golden Ages, St. Walter Parish in Roselle, St. Patrick Parish in St. Charles, and St. Pascal Parish in Chicago. She was employed as a store manager for numerous retailers. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Phillip) Nesterowicz; her son, Robert (Mary) Korman; five grandchildren, Michael (Julie) Korman, Olivia (Christopher) Feldott, Nicholas (Rebecca) Nesterowicz, Luke and Alyssa Nesterowicz; and three great-grandchildren, Madison Korman, Chase and Parker Nesterowicz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and a sister, Helen Lewand. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Moss- Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles. Funeral services will start with prayers from the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, February 6, 2014 before processing to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, in St. Charles to celebrate Mass at 10 A.M.
