TIMOTHY J. BYRD

1965 - 2018

WAUCONDA - Timothy J. Byrd, 52, died April 28, 2018. Born July 25, 1965 in Arlington Heights. Tim worked at Echo in Lake Zurich for 25 years a job he enjoyed before he became disabled due to a second brain cancer. Tim was a fisherman at heart and loved spending time in Minnesota with his friends on the lake. He also loved NASCAR racing. His most precious gift was his daughter Olivia as he loved her with all his heart. He was the son of George and the late Mary and brother of Kathleen (Deron) Srednicki, Daniel, John (Denise), George (Maggie Eisman) and the late Richard (Jeri) Byrd. Tim loved spending time with his dog Jackson. Tim was diagnosed with AML blood cancer in January of 2017. He lost his battle after a long fight, recovery and then the side affects of treatment while in the hospital. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Gone but never forgotten! Visitation Saturday 3 pm until time of Memorial Service 7 pm at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows.
