Hazel M. Frost

Funeral service for Hazel M. Frost, 86, will be Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at 1 pm at Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bryan Blakely officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Frost went home to be with Jesus Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Alpine. She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband William T. Frost, one son Johnny Frost, two sisters Mary Johns and Marie Harvell, four brothers MD Benefield, Hubert Benefield, Aubrey Benefield and Franklin Benefield. She is survived by one daughter Joyce Newman and husband Bobby of Alpine. four sons Roger Frost and wife Peggy of Tuscaloosa, James Frost and Sherry of Calcis, Terry Frost of Alpine and Richard Frost and wife Moffey of Alpine. two sisters Naomi Smith and Husband Carel of Rockford and Ruby Ford of Phenix City, one brother Charles Benefield and wife Pat of Sylacauga, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brandon Frost, Noah Sublett, Nick Frost, James Frost, Ethan White, and Dalton Griffith. Honorary Pallbearers will be her sons, Bobby Newman, and fellow members of Plainview Baptist Church. Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home will direct the services.
