Terry Bruce Sherbert Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Bruce Sherbert, Sr., 64, will be Saturday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Rutledge will officiate. He passed away September 5, 2012 in Talladega. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Chester & Mary Johnson Sherbert; sisters, Jeanette Curlee & Faye Curtis; brother, Donald Sherbert. Terry lost his valient fight against cancer on Wednesday September 5, 2012. After he suffered a stroke in 2002 he recovered and continued to provide for his family through hard work and determination. He was a lover of all things outdoors, especially peaceful drives through the mountains of his life long home, Talladega. Terry was a machinist by trade. For the last years of his life he was employed by the Rubber Plantation in Lincoln, Al. He was a devoted father, grandfather, & husband. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Faye Jacks Sherbert; son, Bruce Sherbert; daughters, Holly Arnold and Lindsay Sherbert; 7 grandchildren: Brett Sherbert, Morgan Sherbert, Austin Arnold, T J Arnold, Kylee Arnold Dusty Arnold & Jodi Arnold; Life long friends, Woody Hubbard , Sam Taylor, Euin Russell, "Yankee Jim", Eugene Jacks, & Dale Shirley.
