I worked with Richard the last 10 - 12 years at Kennett. Richard was one of the finest persons I have known. He was one of the most knowledgeable people in the mushroom industry.
Our sympathies to the family,

Mr. Mayo was a wonderful leader, mentor and father-figure for my generation. He showed us that success and happiness are by-products, not goals. His legacy is rich indeed.
