John Tardy Obituary
Jack was born on July 3, 1967, in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Charles Tardy and Charlotte Aufill Tardy Bruce.
He attended Richmond Academy and Augusta College, both in Augusta, Georgia. He was a valued employee of Imperial Security where he served as a VP of Database Information Systems. He was a funny, loving, patient, and devoted husband and father. He was an avid reader and thought, someday, he might write a science fiction novel. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion, Post 81, Ripley, MS.
Jack is survived by his wife, Tafnie Spencer Tardy; children, Alex, Blake, Tony and Trey; parents, Ret. Lt. Col. John (Carolyn) Tardy and Dr. Charlotte (Dr. Ron) Bruce; siblings, Michael Tardy, Robin (Dr. Timothy) Kutas, Cate (Sean) Bruce-Low, David Bruce, a host of nieces and nephews, and his fur-baby, Fetch.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Parkside Event Center of Memorial Park.
