I met Dennis through my former husband, Dale Dippre and my former brother in law, Jon Laubach. Even though I haven't seen Dennis for a long time, I remember him always being able to make me laugh. He was a "wild man" but he was a kind soul. Thanks, Dennis, RIP.

Dennis has passed, but never will be silenced. The drums will beat on, as will his memory. I remember him from watching the fife and drums practice years ago! His life will echo in the history of Williamsburg forever. Blessings and Peace to his family.

It is hard to find the words to express my sorrow at Dennis's passing. He left us much too quickly. He was my friend, he taught me how to play the base drum and we had a great number of good times together. He was outspoken and opinionated but he would always stick to his guns. He was a fellow Alumni, one of the early generation in the Fife and Drum Corps but he stayed involved and represented an important voice. That base drum may be silent but its beat will always be there for me.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Dennis to be a very thoughtful and faithful man to his friends. He was there for my husband, Art Latimer through his recovery of surgery in 2010, when I met him. I will always remember his stories he loved to tell. Please except my symphony. Thinking about you Dallas.
