Dustin "Dust Man" William Stepp Dustin "Dust Man" William Stepp, 21, of Elkton, recently residing in Stanardsville, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. Dustin was born August 16, 1993, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, and was the son of Joni Stepp and James M. Stepp. Dustin's daughter, Madison Mae Stepp, was the love of his life. He enjoyed hunting with his coon and bear dogs, especially with his redbones and best friend, Dillon Parks. Dustin was a Sunday kind of guy, who was often found playing football in the backyard, in his socks and was also a big fan of Tom Brady. He enjoyed Sunday dinner with his family and listening to bluegrass music. Dustin had a smile that could melt your heart. His family thanks God for the 21 years they had him in their lives; He will always be loved and remembered and not forgotten. In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by his daughter, Madison Mae "Maddie Mae" Stepp; sister, Megan Stepp; brother, Matthew Stepp; half-brother, Colton Conley; cousins, Aaron Shifflett, Steven Shifflett, Austin Kisling, Aron Douglas, Brad Morris, and Adam Morris; aunts, Lisa Roach and Jennifer Stepp; uncle, Jason Stepp; maternal grandparents, Wade "Paw Paw" and Danett Roach; paternal grandparents, James and Bonnie Stepp; and great-grandmother, Geneva Shifflett. Dustin was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae Roach; great-grandfathers, Onnie Shifflett and Manis Roach; and great- grandmother, Mary Roach. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday September 20, 2014, at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisonburg. Burial will follow at the Sandy Bottom Pentecostal Church Cemetery, near Elkton. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening, September 19, 2014, at the funeral home.
