Caral Harrison Obituary
Parsippany - Caral J. (nee-Barker) Harrison passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Wayne. She was 91.
She was born in Hackensack and grew up in Rutherford. She was a member of the Rutherford Presbyterian Church, where she met and married William M Harrison. She joined the Jr Women's Club of Rutherford at the age of 16.
Caral has lived in Parsippany since 1963. She joined the Women's Club of Parsippany Troy Hills and was an active member and held many offices.
Caral worked at Crum & Foster in Parsippany as a Worker's Comp Claims Adjuster in Parsippany for many years. She was a receptionist at The Animal Clinic on Route 10 for many years before that.
Caral was a member of the Morris Plains Presbyterian Church. She belonged to the couples club, circle and copy cats.
Caral is pre-deceased by her late husband: William M. who passed away on 3/3/2015 and her son-in-law: William Waller who passed away on 2/9/2021.
Survivors include her sons: William A. & his fiancée, Michele Fornal, Donald M. & his wife, Jennifer; her daughter: Valerie J. Waller; her four grandchildren: Vickie, Amanda, Zakk, and Will; her three great-grandchildren: Justin, Brianna, and Madison.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:00am on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Morris Plains Presbyterian Church. 400 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains. This service will be live streamed and the connection information will be on the Par-Troy Funeral website. Internment: Private. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235 or visit at www.partroyfuneralhome.com.
