Ivadell Marcella Murdock Cobb

Hartselle

Mrs. Ivadell Marcella Murdock Cobb was born September 29, 1923, in Tennessee to Sam Nealy Murdock and Lizzie Holt Murdock.

Surviviors include sons, Neal Cobb of Helena AL. and Wayne Cobb (Diane) of Clanton AL; daughters, Janice Stover (Jackie) and Beverly Hovis (Chuck) all of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Cobb; daughter-in-law, Glynda Cobb; three brothers; and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be Chris Cobb, Lee Cobb, Shane Hovis, Dusty Slaten, Logan Gilliam, and Niren Kapoor. Honorary pallbearer will be Kerry Cobb.

Her funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with interment in Hartselle City Cemetery with Brother Larry Murdock officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cobb was a longtime member of Hartselle Church of Christ.
