I have been privileged to know Joni and Fred for 24 years, and they welcomed me without hesitation. I found they quickly became 'family of choice' for me.We retired 9 years ago to within 20 miles of Fred and Joan, and they attended our Christmas Eve dinner ever since, unless Joni was singing at Christmas Eve service. While with us, each evening ended with her singing a Christmas carol. This became a tradition we will sorely miss but we believe she will be singing in the Heavenly Choir from now on, and therin is our solice. God blessed the world with Joni !

In 1971,I started working for NJ Bell and for the first 8 years, I worked many times with Fred. One day, the two of us came into the bosses' office and the boss said "Well, it's the BOO and the WHO" Fred was BOO and I was WHO (tom Howe). Later on when I visited the Boudreau house, Joan would say " hello BOO Howe. I tried to tell her, I was WHO Howe and that Fred was BOO. Anyway, from then on in,Joan would always greet me as BOO Howe. Also, in the early 80s Joan would bring my mom holy communion, when my mom was sick and blind. Joan was a warm human being.
I will miss her. Love, Tom Howe

I am so very grateful to have known Joni these past 24 years. She was one of those special people I loved within five minutes of meeting her. When we retired, we moved within 20 miles of Joni and Fred, and the past 9 years, we shared wonderful Christmas Eve dinners together... with her amazing singing at the end of the magical evening.
Joni, dear, you showed us both how to love others and love our faith. I will miss you so much.

I can picture the reunion between her and Sal, and that maded me smile. She was the kindest women I have ever been blessed to know. I will never forget her kindness and love. God bless you all.

She was the first CCD teacher to ever get through to me. Many of the things she said and examples she set have stayed with me and I used them in my own CCD classes. Her son was a classmate of mine all through grammar school. We were bratty to her in class, but she was always caring and a shining example of Christian charity.

Dear Fred and Family,

What wonderful memories we have of Joan. Our fun days on Hanover Avenue, our first home, how Joanie was immediately a loving friend. She added such comfort and joy to my life. We had many laughs and long talks together, we'll never forget her.

Our condolences to all,
God Bless!
Love, Camie, Brian & Family
