Paul R. Manocchio

AGE: 87 • Morristown

Paul R. Manocchio of Morristown passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012. Mr. Manocchio was born and raised in Boonton living in Parsippany before moving to Morristown 5 years ago. He was the Quality Control Manager working for Carbone Corporation in Boonton for many years, prior to that he worked for Drew Chemical in Boonton. He graduated from the University Of Missouri with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Paul proudly served in the United States Army during World War II., receiving the European-African-Middle-Eastern Theatre Ribbon with 3 Bronze stars, American Theatre Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Manocchio was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor Manocchio (nee Yansura). Devoted father of Paul L. and his wife Janine and Alan and his wife Elizabeth. Loving brother of Armond and his wife Mary. Cherished grandfather of Hope, Martin and Julie.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton at 9:00 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street in Boonton for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Boonton. Visiting will be Wednesday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011.

I worked with Paul for many years in carbone at Boonton,Paul was my superviser he was an exelent person and very fair.Im sure he is with God right now.
