Theodora "Teddy" Morris

AGE: 71 • Wharton

Theodora "Teddy" Morris died at Morristown Medical Center on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012. She was 71 years of age. Teddy was born and raised in Montclair. She married Brian M. Morris and lived in West Orange before moving to Wharton in 1968. She was a homemaker who loved children.

Pre-deceased by her husband, Brian M. in 1998. Mrs. Morris is survived by four children, Brian Daniel Morris, Laura Squier, Dawn Hoagland, Jeffrey Morris; ten grandchildren and two nephews, Steven Zambon & Jack Costa.

Visitation will be held on Saturday 9-10am at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral service will be held 10AM at the funeral home, following the visitation. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Offer condolences at www.BerminghamFH.com

Teddy babysat my brothers and I back in the Eighties, I never forgot her and her family. I remember fondly the good times playing in her backyard in the sandbox and having shampoo bottle water fights. My family sends its symypathies to the entire Morris family. Thank you for sharing Teddy with so many people.

Teddy,
You saved my life and helped me get on a path to support my family as a young single mother when you took care of John, Sara and David so I could complete nursing school. I know that God put you in my life and I have been forever grateful for your generosity and kindness. I know that you are being held in the arms of Jesus and are now without pain and sorrow. May God's love be poured out over your children, that they may find solace in that love that you so generously shared with others.

Dan, Laura, Dawn, Jeff & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Teddy was my babysitter for a long time. I remember all the years I spent with her at the canal (Wharton Water Works)as well as playing with the dogs..Cinnamon & Rex, we all played in the garage and backyard.I remember how your dad loved burnt chocolate chip cookies, and Teddy burnt them on purpose. (so sweet) Great memories! Your Mother was a wonderful woman and will be missed dearly. God Bless you and your family during this hard time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I miss you.

Miss Teddy, you watched my kids grow up, and i would catch somtimes in the dark taking out the garbage, and i would admire the wonderful tan you got in the summer.
