Douglas Shriver Obituary

Shriver, Douglas E. "Doug"

age 70, of Dayton, passed away August 13, 2025. He was born August 26, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harv and Eileen Shriver. Doug is survived by his children: Melissa Shriver (Justin) and Ryan Shriver (Courtney); grandchildren: Marren, Hudson, Jayce and Penelope; brother, Steve Shriver (Cheryl); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doug graduated from Northridge High School, Class of 1972. He worked for PTI/EFTEC for 36 years and was a vice president of the Local Union # 888 for many years. Doug was a well known and loved member of his community. He loved hunting, playing pool, watching sports, NASCAR and riding his Harley. More than anything, Doug loved being Pa and Papaw to his grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30 am.
