Family-Placed Obituary


ERVIN, Edward "Bud" of Dayton passed away on his 78th birthday Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Melinda Ervin and several brothers & sisters. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Azalee; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Charles & Rhonda Ervin of Lewisburg, OH, and Danny & Dianna Ervin of Brookville, OH; 2 daughters, Glenda R. Ramsey of Dayton, and Theresa Shackleford of Franklin, OH; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a special grandson Tony Perdue. The family wishes to thank Dr. Murphy and the staff at Miami Valley Hospital ICU for the loving care Edward received. Funeral services will be held at 10 Am on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Tobias Funeral Home - East Third St. Chapel, 1817 East Third St., Dayton, OH 45403. Interment Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edward's memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
