HIGGINS, Reverend Dr. Frederick M. age 76, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 5, 2004. He was a retired Pastor of First Thessalonian Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Dunbar High School, and a retiree from GM after 32 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrews & Coreen Jackson Higgins, brother, Rueben and Thomas (Bernice), sister, Rena Mae, and children, Frederick, Jr. and Angel. Survived by his loving wife, Mary R. Higgins, son, Anthony (Glenda), daughters, Debbie, Pamela (Hank), Ruby, Angela, Angelene (John), Kelly (Shawn), and Shelley, sister, Elizabeth (William), and grandchildren, Shawn, Frederick M., Yolanda, Angel, Walter (Johneice), Frederick W., Shayna, Rolando, Chanel, and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the First Thessalonian Missionary Baptist Church, 30 South Oberlin Avenue, Reverend Dr. Clifford Ballard, Pastor, with Reverend Therman Sampson officiating. Interment: Woodland Cemetery. Viewing 9:00 AM until time of service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
