My mother, the late, Mrs. Mattie Weaver was a true friend of both Billy & Lorena Mays. I found a letter last night from Mrs. Mays to mom. I decided today to try and contact her who was just a joy to our lives. We loved her so much. It was very difficult to see moved back to Ohio eventually after Billy's death . She and Billy used to always come over to our house in Rialto, CA. My heart was broken to learn of her departure but happy to know she is one person that is truly gone to be with the Lord. However, at least, I have something I get to keep and that is our fun loving memories and love for her. If someone can put me in touch with her immediate family, please do. [email protected]

My most heartfelt condolences to Peachie's family. We grew up across the street from each other in Middletown on 17th Ave. Our families had many ties. Back then we called her "Peaches". I will always remember those happy times. Rest in peace friend. You're really "Home Free" as we used to call out in one of our games
