THOMSON, Nicholas Randall Age 33 of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was a graduate of Crown Point High School in Indiana. Nick was currently working for SVG Motors. He enjoyed playing disc golf and soccer, hiking and being outdoors. He is survived by his fianc?: Christine Galusky, sons: Mason Galusky and Max Thomson, father and step-mother: Randall (Dana) Thomson of Tipp City, mother: Mary Jo Clark of KY, siblings: Jessica (Scott) Hester of KY, Sara (Boyd) Stewart of Findlay, Bonita Thomson of KY, 7 step brothers and sisters, grandmother: Joyce Thomson of IA, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-mother: Diana Thomson, step-father: Steve Clark and grandparents. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd.., Englewood) with Pastor Doug Carroll officiating. Interment will follow the service at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Nick I'll miss you my brother, you always had my back and always kept it real with me ,it was never sugar coated ,I have some of the best memories with you, things only me or you will ever know, I hope to be able to share them with your two beautiful boys, the pg ones of course, it just don't seem right that the Lord always takes the good ones , you may be fine but you will never be forgotten, rip big brother

I am a first cousin to Nick's father, Randy. I had the pleasure of meeting Nick [and his sons] for the first time a couple years ago at a family party. What caught my immediate attention was his quick wit and his ease of conversing with a 2nd cousin he'd met for the very first time. I offer my sincerest condolences to all of Nick's family and friends.
