Family-Placed Obituary

SIMLER, Robert W. 60 of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully, July 30, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton after a 3 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Suzanne and his 3 children, Sons Michael. Stephen & his wife Andrea and daughter Heather Putnam. His 5 grandchildren Taylor Putnam, Max Simler, Madison Montgomery and Mason Simler, his sister Pequetti and brothers Tom and Lynn along with many relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of 3 South at Kettering Medical Center, Hospice of Dayton and numerous friends and relatives for their care and support. Special thanks to family friend Brad Blair. A private ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family. Please join family and friends to celebrate Bob's life at Carmel's Mexican Restaurant on Sunday, August 7, from 4-7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Hospice of Dayton. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.newcomerfamily.com.

So sorry to here about Bob. I worked with Bob for many years in the IPACS group in GM/EDS. I also worked with him in the old mail room days at GMISCA when I was just a college grad. I had lost touch after he retired but would occasionally hear about him from Mike McCullough. You have my deepest sympathy.
