LATES (Drescher), Ruth Carole 82 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Born to the late Joseph and Elsa {Lang} Drescher, November 30, 1933. She is survived by 2 brothers, Leo of Clermont, FL, Otto (Dottie), St. Albans, WV, 2 sisters, Lula (Dave) Bohlender, Tipp City & Betty (Don) Furlow, Centerville, OH along with many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Lates (2010) and sister Clara Steinke (2015) along with her parents. Ruth was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1951 and University of Maryland. She resided in Greenbelt, MD for many years and recently relocated to Ohio. There will be a private burial service at Maple Hill cemetery in Tipp City at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W.
