Kristi Ivosevich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home - Hagerstown on Mar. 30, 2026.
Kristi Ann Ivosevich, beloved mother, grandmother "Nonna," sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, friend and educator, passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her.

Born to Lawrence and Joyce Coffin, Kristi was a devoted daughter and a loving sister to her brother, Lawrence K. Coffin, Jr. "Chip" (Brenda). She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Anthony Ivosevich.

Kristi was a proud and loving mother to Rosemary Pritchard (Justin), Alison Ivosevich (Ralph Jimenez), Breanna Ivosevich (Eldwin Kaiser), and Isaac Ivosevich. She was a devoted grandmother to Eisley and Maxine Pritchard, and Leia and Anthony Kaiser, who brought her so much joy.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Benjamin Kegel (Jessica), Miles L. Coffin (Tayler), and Lawrence K. Coffin, III "Kirk," as well as her great-nieces and nephews, Goldie and Rhodes Coffin, along with many other beloved relatives and dear friends.

Kristi was a dedicated educator who spent over 30 years at Grace Academy, where she began as a Pre-K teacher. Through her passion, leadership, and commitment to her students, she was promoted to Elementary Vice Principal and later served as Elementary Principal. She was a mentor to many and was deeply loved by students, staff, and administration alike. Her impact on the lives she touched will be felt for generations.

She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and went on to receive her master's degree from Frostburg State University, reflecting her lifelong commitment to learning and growth.

Kristi found joy in adventure. She loved kayaking, baking for those she loved, and spending time at the beach, her true happy place. Known as the "queen of baking," she expressed her love through the treats she made and shared so generously. Above all, she was a humble and giving spirit with a heart devoted to the Lord and serving others.

Kristi's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family, her students, and her community. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service to celebrate Kristi's life will be held on April 4th, 2026 at Tri-State Fellowship at 11am - 12pm with a visiting hour between 12pm - 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to her workplace and life's calling, Grace Academy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
