Age 75, wife of William F. Hartnett and the daughter of Harry and Ann McMonigle Terranova, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005 at home, with her family by her side.
A lifelong resident of Wilmington, she graduated from the Pierre S. duPont High School, class of '47 and attended Goldey Beacom Business College. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Child. She enjoyed her family including her grandchildren and Sea Isle City with her cousin, Mary. She loved boating, especially on the Chesapeake Bay. She was also secretary and treasurer of the William F. Hartnett Plumbing and Heating Company.
Besides her husband of 47 years, she is survived by her children, William II and his wife, Margie, Michele Lombardo and her husband, Doug of Timonium, MD; a dear friend, Bill McClafferty; and grandchildren, Jay and Annie Hartnett and Mary Catherine, Jack, Annabelle and Andrew Lombardo. She was predeceased by her brother and sister, Harry Terranova and Dorothy Renzi; and a dear cousin, Mary McClafferty.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 am on Monday, March 7, at Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., followed by burial in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear. Visitation will be at 10 am at the church.
