Age 30 of Horsham, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 10, 2005, at his residence.
Born in Wilmington, Christopher was the son of Walter ""Buddy"" and Carolyn (White) Grubb. He was a Senior R.F. Specialist for Ameritech Network Group where he was Cisco certified. He was also integral in the founding of Ameritech Network Group where he was employed for the last 4 years. Traveling across the country for Ameritech afforded Chris an opportunity to pursue his dream of seeing new places and meeting new people. An avid Eagles fan, Chris was also pursuing a real estate license. Chris had a passion for music and snowboarding but his greatest love was for his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he will be dearly missed by his brother, Anthony V. Grubb and his wife, Lynn, of Dover; and his nephews, Anthony, Solomon, Nathaniel and Benjamin. Also surviving is his maternal grandfather, Harry Messick; his aunt, Lisa Romeo; his uncles, David White, Ron White, David Grubb and Wayne Grubb, all of Wilmington; numerous cousins including Alexis Romeo, Johnathan White and Stacey White; and his girlfriend, Ashlee Ilewicz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15th, between 6-8 pm at MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning, November 16th, at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
