Isabel C. THOMAS

Isabel C. Thomas Age 92 of Newark, DE died Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Churchman Village in Newark. Mrs. Thomas was a lifelong and loving homemaker, who was a member of Christiana United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Christiana Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years. She is survived by 2 sons, Frank J. Thomas and his wife, Betty, of Boca Raton, FL and Robert E. Thomas and his wife, Donna, of Newark, DE; and 1 daughter, Louise T. Mackie and her husband, James, of Christiana, DE. Her 5 grandchildren, Barbara Sanford, Linda Harrison, Amy Mackie, James Mackie, Jr. and Dana Thomas; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 2 nephews; and 5 nieces also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Thomas, who passed away in 1983; a son, George William Barrett; and a daughter, Barbara Ann Thomas. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends may call from 7-9 pm on Tuesday evening, January 20, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Christiana Presbyterian Cemetery. R. T.
