Age 59, of Linwood, PA, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at Crozier Chester Medical Center, Upland, PA.
He was born in Chester, PA and resided in Linwood, PA for 33 years, previously living in Bethel Township, PA. He was a longtime employee as a chemical engineer for Esschem, Inc. in Linwood, PA. He enjoyed the beach, riding with friends on his motorcycle and was a swimming instructor who taught swimming lessons and life guarding at the Chichester High School pool. Tom was known to enjoy the company of his friends and talk endlessly. He graduated from Garnet Valley High School in 1966 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan L. Condon Shahadi, who passed away in November of 2006. He is survived by 2 sons, Scott T. Shahadi of Las Vegas, NV and Brandon M. (Jennifer) Shahadi of Linwood, PA; parents, Thomas, Sr., and Anna E. Shahadi of Bear, DE; brothers and sister, Jim W. Shahadi of Trainer, PA, David K. Shahadi of Linwood, PA, Judy A. Ferrari of Aston, PA, and Robert D. Shahadi, Steven A. Shahadi, and Bryan D. Shahadi, all of Bear, DE; 1 grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 am, on Wednesday, July 18, at the PAGANO FUNERAL HOME, 3711 Foulk Road, Bethel Township, PA. Interment will be private. A viewing will be held from 9-11 am.
