I'm so sorry to just be learning of Dr. Mac's passing. Our children are older now and we live further away, but she was our family pediatrician for years and she was the very best. Our daughter had multiple issues when she was younger, and Dr. Mac's warm personality always made us feel comfortable and confident that our daughter would be okay. My husband and I are so sad to hear this news and although it is two years late, please accept our condolences and know that Dr. Mac will never be forgotten in the lives of many.

Dr. Mcintosh saved my daughters life. My daughter fell and hit her head when she was one. She was not acting like her normal self. I called and Dr. McIntosh called me back and said call the ambulance and take her to the er. The Paramedics came and said it was probably a concussion, Dr. McIntosh said go to the ER and told them the same. Two hours late my daughter had a hematoma and required immediate surgery. She saved my daughters life, and I will always remember her tenacity, dedication and compassion. She was an angel on earth.

Dr. McIntosh was so important to us when my children were born. My son was sick as an infant and was later diagnosed with a disease in his esophagus and she gave me her home number and would allow me to call her at home - any time. She was a very special woman and friend. I hope she is remembered as the one of a kind woman that she was. Miss you!

I am sending my condolences to the family of Dr.McIntosh. Dr.McIntosh took great care of my four children over the years at Nemours Pediatrics at Lankenau Hospital. She always had a pleasant smile and great spirit about her. I just learned of her passing yesterday and I shed a tear that such a beautiful person left this earth too soon. May her soul lie in the hearts of all those who loved her and the many lives she touched eternally. Rest well Dr.McIntosh, you will be remembered forever.

Cyd was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, friend and doctor. She gave freely of herself and had a Christian heart full of love and forgiveness. While she faced many hardships in these last several years, she always had room in her heart to care for others and see beyond the circumstances of their lives and their failings. She saw the true person within and loved them. I was honored to witness this many times.

Today I reminded of Matthew 25:35-36. "For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me." Today I pray for her family -- her husband whom she loved so much, her daughters of whom she was so proud, and her extended family of whom she was a role model. May we all live a life with such fullness, kindness, forgiveness, love, and care.
