Thank you for your thoughts, everyone. It's comforting to hear how loved he was, and how good a friend he was. There's a fundraiser online for Patty, just to help pay rent the next couple months, to take the added financial stress off: https://www.gofundme.com/a-home-for-joe039s-girls

I have lost a brother. A true brother always even though we lived 1,000+ miles away we remained close. I have so many memories of the crazy things we did and the fun things we did. Best friends for almost forty years. You always had time to listen. Joe, I know you are "up there" building Caddies and riding Harleys. I expect a Pink Cadillac ready for us to tool around in when my time down is up down here. Till then, carry on Big buddy. LOVE YA PHILLY JOE!!!!
