Donna Shupe Obituary
Salisbury - On Sunday, February 14, 2021, God's angels welcomed Donna Kaye Ennis Shupe, to her eternal home. Upon entering she joined the heavenly choir with her beautiful singing voice and her many musical talents.
Born in Salisbury, MD on November 21, 1955 the last of three children to the late C. Dale and Katherine Tubbs Ennis, at the time of her passing she resided in rural Parsonsburg, MD.
Donna graduated from Pittsville High School in 1972. She attended what is now Salisbury University, graduating with degrees in Music, French, Math, and Computer Science. Upon graduation she was employed by Perdue Farms in Salisbury, MD, where she remained for 42 years in the IT department.
She enjoyed math, puzzles, game shows and church. Donna was passionate about music and enjoyed sharing that with others. She especially enjoyed writing and composing music.
Donna's early years were spent at the Eden United Methodist Church in Willards, where she was a member of the Eden Gospel Trio. Currently Donna served as an Elder and Choir director for the Cathedral of Deliverance in Fruitland, MD.
Left to cherish Donna's memory is her husband Samson A. Shupe; son Jared A. Shupe, daughter Deanna (Ian) Robertson; grandsons Brady (Jennifer) Travis and Robert Travis; sisters Margaret (Ben) White and Joan (George) Calloway; several nieces and nephews; as well as Sam's large family of Shupe descendants.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 5PM-7PM at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 2PM at Holloway Funeral Home with visitation 1-hour prior from 1PM-2PM. Interment will take place immediately following at Pittsville Cemetery.
The Funeral Service will also be webcast live via YouTube at Donna's online obituary at www.HollowayFH.com.
Due to restrictions associated with COVID-19, guests are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. With attendance restrictions, guests are also encouraged to attend one of the visitations.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Donna's memory can be made to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
