Eric Morris Obituary
COPPERAS COVE, TX-Eric Delano Morris Sr., was born January 12, 1961 in Charleston, S.C., to Leon and Geneva Morris. He later moved to Delmar, MD.
He graduated from Delmar Junior & Senior High School in 1979. After graduation, he went to York College in Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. He was employed with Eastern Shore Water Inc., as a Sale Representative, Shore Up Inc., as a Director of Training in the Employment Division and Choice TV Rental as a Regional Manager all in Salisbury, MD. He was presently employed with Bates Nissan as a Sales Manager for over 3 years in Killeen, TX.
Eric was a past member of Union United Methodist Church in Delmar, MD and a present member of Christian House of Prayer in Killeen and Copperas Cove, TX.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Deanna L. Morris of Copperas Cove, TX; mother, Geneva M. Morris of Delmar, MD; grandmother, Geneva S. Greene of Charleston, S.C.; sons, Eric D. Morris Jr. "E.J." of Copperas Cove, TX, Christopher M. Hopkins (Jackie) of Newark DE, and Charles A. Hopkins (Joy) of Seaford, Delaware; daughters Erica J. Morris of Copperas Cove, TX and 1SG Damita L. Stollings (Wes) of Evans, GA; brother, Leon R. Morris Jr. (Vanessa) of Bear, DE; sisters, Maria A. Morris-Warton (Bruce) of Delmar, MD, Shannon G. Morris, of Salisbury, MD, and Kelly L. Morris-Springston (Alex) of Delmar, MD; five grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leon R. Morris Sr.

Condolences to Eric Morris's family:
My mother is visiting with us this weekend and informed me of Eric's passing. I was saddened and shocked to learn this. Eric and I played many sports together especially basketball. Eric was a very good athlete as well as a gifted student in high school. I remember him for his outgoing personality, his confidence and his humor. I hope all of his good qualities carries on through his children.

I was saddened hear of the passing of Eric. Deanna, know that I am here for you as much as you will allow. I've not been in your shoes, but I pray that God will give you strength during this difficult time. And to the other family members, know that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
