Frances Satchell

SALISBURY — Frances Satchell, 74, of Salisbury passed away Friday, June 3, 2011, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Satchell was born in Seaford on March 26, 1937, daughter of Mattie E. Batson and the late Ira Batson Jr.

Mrs. Satchell married the late William Satchell in 1972. Together, they loved to visit relatives and friends.

She remained a homemaker until she became employed by the Worcester County Board of Education as a cook and for the Harrison Senior Living in Snow Hill. Frances was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Seaford. She loved to read, work puzzles, travel and share with family.

A service will be held Saturday at noon at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Seaford. A public viewing will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Salisbury, and one hour prior to service. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Salisbury.
