Gladys Nutter Obituary
Salisbury-Gladys Dennis Nutter, 92, of here departed this life on Friday, February 24, 2017, at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in Oaksville, she was the daughter of the late George McKinley Dennis and Ruby Anne Doane Dennis. Her husband, Robert Moses Nutter, also preceded her in death.
She will be lovingly remembered by: one sister, Lydia Waters; one sister-in-law, Hester Johnson; a niece, Anna Leak; a nephew-in-law, Arthur Johnson; a great-niece, Shavonne Dennis; four great-nephews, Lewis Birckhead, Lyle Dennis, Brian Dennis, and Bruce Dennis; a great-great-niece, Phyllis Birckhead; several other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Goslee and Dalton Dennis, and one brother, Hillary Miles.
Ms. Nutter will lie in repose on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A., 1618 West Road, Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Rev. Dr. David L. McLendon, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc., West Road, Salisbury. Please visit www.lewisnwatsonfuneralhome.com to offer condolences to the family.
