Joyce Bounds Obituary
Salisbury-Joyce S. Bounds, 92, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the John B. Parsons Home. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Welton Shockley and Helen Townsend Shockley.
Joyce was employed for 25 years with Cooper Insurance Agency in Fruitland and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and flowers, and enjoyed a small, simple life.
She is survived by a niece, Deborah Causey and husband, Keith of Fruitland; a sister in law, Caroline Shockley of Salisbury; and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Aubrey Bounds, who passed May 23, 1975. They were married almost 30 years.; a brother, Charles W. Shockley; and a niece, Karen Disharoon.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. The Rev. Joel Beiler will officiate.

It's hard to believe my office mother (as she called herself)has departed. I will miss our phone calls to check up on each other. Sending hugs and praying for family. She will be missed. We have our memories to cherish. R.I.P. Helena. God only takes the best into his flock and he choose you.
