Delia Robles Obituary
Visitation will begin Friday August 17, 2018 at noon at Saint Ann's Catholic Church where the rosary service will begin at 1 o'clock to be led by her brother, Elias Anchieta. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2 o'clock. Concluding services and inurnment will be Saturday August 18, 2018 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Mt. View Cemetery. Fr. Manuel F. Ibarra will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
Delia was born February 20, 1949 to Amada Escarcega and Jose Anchieta in Ascarate Park, El Paso, Texas. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and a communicant at Saint Ann's Catholic Church. Delia will be remembered for her kindness, selfless, always putting her children first, always wanting to help, giving and her humbleness. She loved to shop, knit, travel, make jewelry, loved to be with her grandchildren enjoying a happy life.
Delia is survived by her children, Miguel Robles of Las Cruces, Manuel Robles of Louisville, KY, Sergio Robles and wife Edith of Pasadena, CA, and Belen Hughes and husband Matthew of Maquoketa, IA; 9 grandchildren, Bianca, Serena, Gavin, Isabel, Jordan, Aaron, Ambriehl, Natalia and Bella; great-grandson, Jordyn; 6 brothers, Elias Anchieta of Deming, Jose Anchieta and wife Yolanda of El Paso, Salvador Anchieta and wife Consuelo of Deming, Tomas Anchieta of El Paso, Alberto Anchieta and wife Dora of El Paso, and Manuel Anchieta and wife Leticia of Juarez, MX; 6 sisters, Ana Blanco and husband Rafael of Deming, Aurora Anchieta of Las Cruces, Rosario Amaral of Virginia, Lourdes Kaderly and husband Bradly of Deming, Angelica Anchieta of Phoenix, AZ, and Clara Sandoval and husband Joseph of Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Amada Anchieta, brother, Felipe Anchieta; husband, Jose Manuel Robles and niece, Karla B. Lopez.
Serving as pallbearers are Gavin Robles, Daniel Blanco, Gabriel and Kristian Lopez, Manuel and Iran Anchieta.
