Joshua Gomez

Joshua Gomez, 31, a resident of Mimbres, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 25. 1985 in Silver City, NM to Roger and Susan Gomez. Joshua was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed cutting firewood, fishing, hunting, camping, going to the river, and family outings. He was very artistic and had a wealth of knowledge. Joshua had a great sense of humor and could make just about anybody laugh. Above all, he loved his family. He is survived by his partner, Samantha Grijalva; his mother, Susan Gomez; his children, Kane, Amiyah, and Amorae of Mimbres, NM; his sister, Jennifer Gomez (Mike) of Tucson, AZ; two nephews, Chance Barela, and Sabastian Alday. He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Gomez; his uncle Anthony Ybarra; paternal grandparents, Freddie and Ruth Ybarra, and maternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Lesson. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 9 am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Deacon Bill Holguin officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
