I have a picture from the 1930s of Martha joking around with a large slice of watermelon. Carol, like her mother, Martha, and her sister, Edith, have always sent out a joyful aura around them and, with a natural ease, they could make anyone happy to be in their company. The men, with their fun loving spirit, always did a good job of keeping up with the ladies. It's indeed the highest compliment to say that Carol reminded me of her mother's goodness.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Carol had the greatest laugh & always made me laugh. She was so funny. She kept me company many times at our work picnics at the playground with my son. That was always our hangout every year as my son did not want to be around the crowd. She never left me there alone, she always enjoyed the company of my son and all the other little kids. They made her laugh.
My sympathies & prayers to all of her family.
