Dear Cyndi's family,
I am saddened to hear the news. Cyndi and I worked closely together for many years at B&W Tobacco. She was truly an inspiration to me. She taught me so much about business, how to succeed and was influential in my decision to finish my MBA. She also tried to help me with my golf game. I golfed with Cyndi in many outings throughout the years .... she was amazing at the game .... her drive put the men to shame! I remember golfing with her once when it was real muddy ... a colleague hit the ball and her & I got covered with mud ... we just laughed! She had an amazing spirit ... so smart, articulate and caring. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to know her in such a special way. I will truly, truly miss her! My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and all her close friends at this time.

Donald, Melinda and families, Sally and I are very saddened to hear that Cyndi has left us at such a young age. I recall seeing you both back on the farm when I was helping your dad with the haying. When the work was done for the day, Bill would always take me out back of the barn to check the fields for woodchucks. He told me the story about when he tried out for a pitching position with the New York Yankees. Remember, Melinda, when I would always call you, "Matilda" ? Cyndi, was born the same year that we were married. I last saw you all at your mothers funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this very sad time and I am sorry that we will not be able to be with you at the Funeral tomorrow. We are currently at Dan's in North Carolina for our Grandson's Graduation. We should be back in Elmira in a week or so. I am writing this note with a very sad heart but also with very fond memories of both of you, and your Mom & Dad, when we grew up as neighbors, in the Mosherville area. Lot's of LOVE, Harold & Sally Casteline
