Dear Anderson family-
I had the opportunity to work with David in 7th grade English class and never forgot his clever personality, his tenacious nature, or his passion to do well. He was a remarkable boy. May your faith sustain you in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mr. Anderson,
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family everyday. I went to school and graduated with David this year. I did not know him very well but I do know that he always had a smile on his face everytime I saw him. I remember one time in our choir class people were auditioning for solos for our last concert of the year. This one was for the song "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. He volunteered and sang it in the most high pitch voice I have ever heard in my life! The whole entire choir laughed for about 20 minutes after he was done and appluded him for it. We all wanted him to get the solo, but he didn't. We will all miss him and his jokes. He was a great person.

Dear Brother Anderson,
Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of loss. We remember him as "little David" the blonde boy in primary, who was always watched over by his older sisters.

Bro. Anderson and family that I consider still my own. Our deepest heartfelt thoughts are with you at this time. We think of you often and the memories that we share. I remember David only as a three year old, but one that was happy, active and loved by his family. May you feel of His comfort at this time and always.

We just met Dave at BYU as Craig was one of his new roomates. I appreciated how helpful he was from the time we pulled up and how friendly he was to Craig, my wife Emily, and myself. We enjoyed the brief time we spent with him at the apartment, at dinner together, and at the football game together. So sorry to hear of your loss and may God bless you with comfort through these times.

Our son, Cameron, was one of David's BYU roommates. He was just getting to know David, and thought he was a lot of fun, and looked forward to the coming year. We are all surprised by this disheartening event. We hope that the family will lean on their faith and knowledge. Peace, and best wishes.

David and my son Grant were good friends. I'll never forget all the times David spent the night; his back pack was filled with soda, candy and all sorts of munchies to share. One time he even pulled out a pizza. You will live in my heart forever, young Mr. Anderson.

My prayers are with you all and I praise God for His wonderful plan; we will see David again.

To the man who always inspired me to work harder, stay stronger, and fail miserably at getting into the starting lineup as hooker. I’ll miss you Deuce; I’ll never forget all the help you gave me to stick it out on another school’s team. Food stops may once again become necessary…

The members of the McDonald family, who have watched David grow up since 1st grade with our son Connor, express our deepest condolences to his family. He was a warm, joyful, and loving young man and he'll be missed by all. In addition to being a whacky character, Dave was a sincere friend with a big heart who reached out to my son in times of need. We'll always be grateful for the influence he had on Connor's life.
