David Breen Obituary
Palmyra: Died on May 17, 2008 at age 83. Predeceased by his brother Richard Breen. He is survived by his wife Mary Breen, the love of his life; children, Patrick (Linda) Breen, Terri (Charles) Ziegler, Tim (Lois) Breen, Dave (Karen) Breen, Jr.; Marty Breen, Kelly Breen, Tom Breen; grandchildren, Jenny (Travis) Whitton, Amy (David) Trask, Christopher (Nicole Warner), Sarah (Charles Mitchell), Erin Breen, Trisha (Chad) Redmond, Patrick Breen, Jr., Sean Breen; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings Bernice Wood, Madeline Saver, Gerry Havert, Betty Benzel, Jim (Bev) Breen, Sr.; many nieces & nephews. Dave joined his father & family in the grocery business, where they worked in the Wayne County area for many years. He was active in many community organizations, including United Way, Wayne Co. ARC & Dollars for Scholars.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at McGUIRE/ HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 123 East Jackson St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 PM Wednesday at St. Anne's Church, Palmyra, followed by burial at St. Anne's Cemetery. Donations may be made to Palmyra Community Center, Palmyra Fire Dept. Oxygen Squad or Dollars for Scholars in his memory.

Grandpa, We miss you so much!
Thank you for everything you taught us. Thank you for your sense of humor. Thank you for learning the computer so we could keep in touch on a regular basis. We are sorry to hear of Dave's passing. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remember the many times I saw Dave as he greeted me with his bright smile and a 'hello' when I shopped in the store.

We are both so sorry to read about Dave's passing. When we lived in Palmyra we always enjoyed visiting with Dave, at the store and around town. Our prayers and sympathy is with all the family.
