Aunt Jean, Dave, and Janelle,
It is so hard to express how much we all miss Jay and how painful this is, but yesterday was our first official "outting" without him and I felt him with us as I tied his name around my arm. His physical beauty is gone from us but the beautiful soul of him is with us each time we have a memory, a laugh, a smile....he was with ALL of us yesterday.

Jean, David and Tim, I just learned of your loss. I couldn't even talk for a couple of moments. I'll always remember Jason as a boy who just loved life and to be around him always made me smile. I've stopped trying to understand why these things happen, I just pray we'll all see each other again in a much better place. We'll keep Jason and you all in our prayers.

Jean,
I am so sorry for your loss. From what I have been reading Jason was a great person and loved by all. God needed another Saint and decided Jason was the one. I will pray for family and for you that you are able to come to peace. If you ever want to talk, please call me.

Dave, Jean and Janelle
Now that you have lost your brother, son, and bestfriend you will feel an emptiness, a void that at times can be so painful that you start questioning your own faith and also your will to keep going through the motions of your own loss. Going through them will be exhausting at first and as time goes on you will start embracing every smell that leads to a memory, a moment that once was shared between you all. Memories shared by the cousins and laughter following. There will always be a void, you will never forget what happened, every moment of the day you will think of him, that will never change. But you will learn how to cope and you will notice the crying has lessened. I love you guy's and Jason is with good people. As hard as it is for us,we have quite an army up there in the sky looking down and protecting us.

Aunt Jean, Dave and Janelle,
I don't think I could put into words how much I truly loved Jay. Although he was my little cousin it seems like he was always doing special things to take care of me. I will remember him for the hundreds of little things he was always doing for others that often go unnoticed. He was a true gentleman and I feel so lucky that I got to share in his life, he left us all with countless happy memories of fun and mischief. I love you all and am here for whatever you need.

Jean and Dave,
Jason was a well-mannered young man who I will truly miss. Although in life we sometimes go our separate ways the memories stay with us forever. I hadn't seen Jason in almost 12 years but about a month ago I was very fortunate to see and speak with Jason on his lunch break. It was like we never lost touch because of his great personality, smile and friendly nature. As his soccer coach at Aquinas I will never forget his hard work, determination and team first attitude. Jason will always have a place in my heart and will always be remembered as the ideal player and most importantly ideal person. I know you are very proud of him! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
