"Broadway"
Rochester: Johnifer Crittenden entered into rest on October 19, 2015, surrounded by his loving wife Kim, children and siblings. Predeceased by his parents, Willie C. and Clara Bell Crittenden; 2 brothers, Jerome and Willie-Joe Crittenden and 2 sisters, Linda and Glenda Crittenden. Johnifer is survived by his wife, Kim Crittenden; children, Johnifer and Javawn Hall, Jennifer Boutee, Janae and Jamika Crittenden, Karen, Adam and Mikal McFadden, Aishah Rowland and Jerome Hancock; 3 brothers, Willie and Terry Crittenden and Dennis (Kendra) Brooks; 3 sisters, Edna and Donise Crittenden and Clara (Sidney) Forbes; 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams Street, Rochester, NY 14608. Funeral will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Church. Reverend, Dr. Rickey Harvey officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY.

To Kim, the Crittenden family and friends, I will never forget Johnifer. His smile lights up a room. And, I did not meet him during happy times but he continued to smile during the time that we knew each other. I will miss his strength and personality. We had a lot of fun together. I loved his purple or burgundy outfit. And, I still wish that I was able to make it to that special birthday in the summer 2014. Clearly, Johnifer is an incredible person. I would like gave my Respect for 1 of the sharpest and coolest Man i knew growing up on EDWARDS STREET.BOO BOO could wear any color suits and make it look sharp. he's favorite words would be when he saw me was my man J-SMOOTH. Johnifer, you and my dear friend Kim have the kind of close, beautiful marriage that is a blessing from God. I know how hard it is that you must go before your beloved wife Kim but this will be temporary. This too will pass.
