I got to meet Chris, his brother Alphonse and uncle Al a couple of years ago, in the course of helping a friend of mine set up his grocery store. Chris came to my help by offering tip as well as giving me the best deals on the produce especially because he knew that we were starting a new store from the scratch. Many times he will give me huge discounts on top of his already lowest prices. His kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, and very helpful attitude will always be remembered. Generous and kind persons are very hard to come by. I will tremendously miss him. He has left a void which will be hard to fill. May his soul rest in peace and give you all courage to bear this irreparable loss. My heartfelt condolences.

The guardian angels of life sometimes fly so high as to be beyond our sight, but they are always looking down upon us.

My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. It was truly a blessing to have had the privilege of knowing Chrisy and his family. You were a second family to me growing up and always will be. It has only been a few years that I have been acquainted with Chris. We only saw each other a few hours out of a week and that was entirely for business purposes, most often in the early morning hours even before our eyes had completely opened.. Even then, Chris was always a courteous and respectful businessman. His passing is a loss for your family but the “Market” family as well. We will all miss his presence .

Carol, Colleen and I can only offer our most sincere sympathy for your loss and we share with all of you our sadness and anguish the moment we learned of his passing.

Be Strong. Keep it together. Build upon what he helped build.

My mother, Nancy Maier, just told me the news about Christopher. I am deeply sorry for the loss of such a wonderful, childhood friend. As children, Chris and AJ used to play with my brother, Matthew, and I when we lived in Henrietta. A childhood friend that will never be forgotten. RIP buddy....thanks for the memories. xoxo Rachel Maier~Strauss
