Penfield - On January 6, 2021 at the age of 90. Bob is survived by his devoted and beloved wife Carol, his loyal dog Samson, his sons Roger Schaefer, Durham NC, Karl Schaefer (His wife Renee), Indianapolis IN, Thomas Schaefer (his wife Carol), Conover NC, David Schaefer (his wife Jennie) Fremont CA, his Step children Freeman Marshall, NY, William Marshall, NY, Judith Wirges (her husband Scott) Hopewell Junction NY, Louis Olivetto Jr. Poughkeepsie NY, Laura Farnung, Webster NY, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
We look forward to having a celebration of life for Bob (Gipper) when family and friends can gather safely at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
